December 5, 2024 on my birthday I was just inducted into the Chicago Hip Hop Heritage Museum with my moms, my pops, my daughter and some people that I love and that really love me in attendance!! First Chicago artist ever to be officially inducted and I’m so grateful. I’m blessed. God is real and good!! I been to Aruba, Bahamas, Mexico, and Miami + more on my birthdays but this was the BEST birthday ever. I’m grateful for what hip hop and this culture has done for me and if you rock with Sinatris I LOVE YOU and appreciate you spending my birthday and induction with me!!! We use the word too loosely but I’m a mf legend!! I Thank God for another day to celebrate life and allowing me to receive my flowers while I can still smell them. Last week my childhood record lable GR entertainment “Dakamp” was Inducted into Chicago Hip Hop Heritage Museum. I’m so grateful to be apart of DaKamps Legacy together we made history. It’s a a blessing to be acknowledged along with Chicago’s Icons that paved the way for Hip Hop culture and being Honored in our city as Chicago Hip hop Legends. Dakamp artists & producers all had unique styles creating our own sound that became undeniable. We toured with Iconic Chicago artist headlining venues everywhere. This was in the era of street promotion putting up posters, passing out flyers, and sale cd’s/cassette out of the trunk of the car. We did it all hustled our music nonstop 24/7 grinding endlessly to make a major impact in the Music Industry as a Independent record label from Chicago city to the burbs. We released multiple compilations with a list of hits We So Ghetto” Weed N Shit” Rock A Bye Hater”, No Love For The Enemies fueled from real experiences lived which influenced the lyrical content of the songs we recorded.
